About Stan:
A native Floridian, Stan Mayfield grew up in Pensacola where his family instilled in him a strong
work ethic, and the values of honesty, integrity, and accountability. As a native Floridian and long
time resident of Indian River County, Stan values the basic principals of lower taxes, smaller
government, and more personal freedom. He will fight to cap spending to lower taxes, open the
books to keep taxpayers in control, and work to keep an open and honest government.
Proven Record:
Stan attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering in
1987. Since then, Stan has become a FloridaRegistered Engineer and a Florida Certified
General Contractor.
After attending college, Stan Mayfield began his career with Masteller, Moler and Mayfield, Inc.,
where he served as principal and project manager. Since then, Stan has worked for H. F. Lenz
Company, Inc. and Chilberg-Mayfield, Inc.as the Vice President and Principal.
Stan Mayfield has a proven track record as a successful businessman, school board member, and a
state legislator. He has successfully managed government staff, led the fight for property tax relief
and been responsible for prioritizing billions of taxpayer dollars.
Community Commitment:
Stan Mayfield has been active in our community for years. From civic groups to church,
Stan believes it is important for each of us to give something back to our communities.
