It has been my overwhelming pleasure to serve as your
representative in the State House.  It’s the trust, support and
friendship of people like you that has inspired me to do my
very best work for this county and for the State of Florida. 
This is why I want to take the time to thank you from the
bottom of my heart for your ongoing dedication,
commitment and encouragement.

As you may know, my good friend Charlie Sembler has
announced he will not seek re-election as our Tax
Collector leaving the seat vacant.  As a way to continue
my public service, I have decided to ask the voters of our
community to consider me as their next Indian
River County Tax Collector.

Indian River County and Florida has given me and my family
so much over the past 20 years, and I feel that my experience
as a businessman, school board member, and state legislator
will provide me the necessary skills to serve as Tax Collector. 
I am the only candidate who has managed government staff,
led the fight for property tax relief and been responsible for
prioritizing hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars.
